ENTER SANDMAN: in role reversal MARIANO RIVERA provides backdrop to Metallica's own Hall of Fame performance

On October 31st of this year Mariano Rivera and METALLICA switched roles.

Traditionally Metallica has provided the backdrop music for #42's late innning entrances into games at Yankee Stadium, their epic ENTER SANDMAN blaring in the background.

A little over a month ago Metallica performed during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame concert at Madison Square Garden. During their rendition of ENTER SANDMAN the fans in attendance were treated to video highlight footage of Mariano Rivera gracing the jumbo video screen right behind the band.
